9. Insert this same needle with the Bacteriostatic Water thru the rubber stopper into the bottle of hCG powder and slowly push plunger to add the Bacteriostatic Water to hCG powder. Gently swirl or tilt the bottle until the medication is mixed.

(DO NOT SHAKE) The mixture is completely clear when ready to use.

10. Withdraw the hCG mixture and add it to the Bacteriostatic Water that is left in the Bacteriostatic Water bottle.

11. Remove the needle and syringe from the bottle and replace cap for your safety—Dispose of this needle and syringe.

Dispose of each syringe after its use by placing in a puncture proof container such as a coffee can or a sharps container to return to the clinic for disposal in a bio-waste container.

Tips:

Keep syringe at eye level while drawing up your medication

If at any time it becomes difficult to draw up your medication, insert more air into the bottle. This makes it easier.

Once hCG is mixed with Bacteriostatic Water, write “hCG” and expiration date on the Bacteriostatic Water bottle label to identify it. It expires 60 days after mixing with bacteriostatic water

You are now ready to draw up your hCG injections
